About Gabriela Rusu
​Gabriela Rusu is an SMSF technical specialist with over 30 years of experience in banking and superannuation, with a specialised focus on SMSFs. Since founding Gabriela Rusu Superannuation Services in 2013, she has provided highly regarded SMSF technical consultancy services to SMSF trustees and professionals, including superannuation membership associations.

Gabriela is a respected writer and presenter in the superannuation industry. She has authored numerous technical articles published in leading superannuation publications and contributed to the Master of Financial Planning Guide, published by Wolters Kluwer Australia CCH.
​
She also authored the SMSF Manual and co-authored the Tax Summary, both published by the Institute of Financial Professionals Australia (IFPA), formerly known as Taxpayers Australia and later as Tax & Super Australia.
​
Previously, Gabriela spent 13 years at the largest SMSF administration business in Australia at the time, where she gained extensive experience in SMSF administration, technical support and compliance.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Economics, a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is an accredited SMSF Specialist Advisor™ (SSA) with the SMSF Association.
